ZAG Down

Don't know why, but SquashZAG is down again. I hope it's nothing permanent. We need good squash sites on the web!

  1. Good riddance. Squash is better off without his opinions and negativity. Squashsite.co.uk provides all the coverage I need and more.

  2. Anonymous you are so small minded. Squash zag will be sorely missed for many reasons least of which is the willingness to express opinions and ask questions. No other squash website brought together as many different media, broadly covered squash and permitted dissenting opinions.

  3. I agree with the second comment. You don't necessarily have to agree with Zag's point of view -- I certainly didn't all the time -- but he did let people come on his site and discuss squash topics whichever way the conversation went. He also found some great editorial and videos that I never would have seen without Zag bringing them to light. Yes, SquashSite is the better news source, but Zag was (hopefully still IS) a good stop on the 'net.

  4. Squashsite is where I go for all the PSA scores. Its quick, lots of pictures, but sometimes too British.

Squashzag does much more. I especially like the videos they find and the interviews with players and others.

Come on squashist, you must have an inside track. What's up? Down for good?

  5. I exchanged emails with him last week when i saw his site was down. He said he would be away until this Monday, when it would be decision time: keep "shoveling money" or fold the site for good. It must be tough: there is limited corporate money for internet squash sites.

  6. I hear that SquashZAG is not dead and will be reignited soonish. Unsure of details.

  7. It turns out that SquashZAG will apparently fold. I am still waiting for confirmation.

Sorry, but due to increasing spam, I've added the Word Verification step. My policy on comments is anything goes, as long as it is about squash and as long as it isn't unnecessarily nasty....
